1971 Morris Minor Traveller

Here we have a 1971 Traveller which was among the very first cars I purchased from the UK. It is my "tuition car" meaning that I have now made a decision not to buy cars unseen. Mechanically, the car is in very good condition and runs very well; however, it is in need of a cosmetic makeover to bring it into the realm of a very attractive automobile. The wood is in need of some replacing (see rear left door), and before doing that, I would say the entire exterior of the car needs repainting. There does not appear to be any rust on the car, but some jerk used a paint brush on parts of the body to refresh the paint. Only benefit of that is that the car did not rust!

The odometer shows 50,000 miles, but in a car of this age there can be no guarantee of the mileage.

If you are handy and enjoy undertaking a partial restoration project, this is the car for you. I'm asking $4,400 to get my costs out of it, but I am also open to offers. All replacement parts are available and I can direct you to major suppliers.
